Asia's Next Top Model 4 Episode 1 Recap

With America's Next Top Model officially over (and awaiting to see its reincarnation at VH1), blogging will officially commence with the new season of Asia's Next Top Model, which has pretty much usurped the original from its first season.

With new host Cindy Bishop and Mentor Kelly Tandiono (and apparently creative director Yu Tsai, who was not present for the first ep), it is a fresh new line up for the show which has adopted the pretty horrible scoring system of ANTM.

After a quick runway challenge and the undeserved elimination of Maya, the girls complete a 60s photoshoot suspended in a bubble in mid air. Best shots for me were Tuti, Aldilla and Sang In.

In the end, first call out went to...

Tuti, and in the bottom two were Gwen and Angie... with an anticlimatic non-elimination... meh.

It's still quite early to tell who I like but they really should have eliminated someone this week, which made their early elimination of Maya even more pointless- so sad she didn't even get to do a photoshoot.

I'll get into more detail on each of the girls in coming weeks..

Anyway... let's see how they do in the coming weeks!
