Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever' New Single

It might not be a new album, but it would not be right for 2016 to end without new music from pop sensation Taylor Swift, given her usual release schedule of an album every 2 years. It has been two years since her record breaking release of 1989.

'I Don't Wanna Live Forever' is a duet with Zayn Malik for the Fifty Shades Darker Soundtrack, and has already topped the Itunes Chart. Let's hope this is a precursor for more Swift music in 2017!

Birdy 'Ghost In the Wind'

Following the release of Sigma's new single Find Me, ft. Birdy, she now releases a new track for the upcoming soundtrack for 'The Edge of Seventeen'.

The song 'Ghost in the Wind' sees Birdy return to a stripped sound of piano and ghostly vocals, which really builds up to the chorus and feels truly cinematic.

'The Edge of Seventeen' sees Hailee Steinfeld navigate the struggles of being a teenager; a quirky character who doesn't have many friends and ends up pushing the people closest to her away, and the song is inspired by this moment of wanting things to return back to normal.

'Bridget Jones's Baby' Film Review

'Bridget Jones's Baby' arrives 12 years after the last movie and whilst many thought it was another case of nostalgia and Hollywood remaking/rebooting movies, it very much is, but does it very well.

Bridget Jones (Renee Zellweger), currently single, after her break up with Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), has focused her energy on her career, becoming a successful television producer and reached her target weight.

Despite her personal accomplishments, Bridget finds herself in a bit of a pickle when she discovers she is pregnant, but not who the father is. Is it Jack's (Patrick Dempsey), a stranger she slept with at a music festival? Or Mark's (whom she slept with after finding out he was available again)?

'Passengers' Film Trailer Preview

There seems to now always be this one sci-fi space movie that comes out every year with awards bait written all over it... we had Gravity, Interstellar, The Martian... and now it seems 'Passengers' is filling that role (or is it in contention with 'Arrival'?).

Starring two of Hollywood's most sought after stars, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are two space colonists awoken early in cryogenic sleep on a routine journey to a new space home. 90 years too early. The two eventually fall in love, but when they discover that the ship is malfunctioning, they must try to save themselves, and the 5000 other people on board.

Whilst the two stars will be enough to draw a large audience, the trailer suggests that the film will boast spectacular visuals and some exciting action. I just hope that the romance isn't always this cheesy, and that there is some deeper and more complex plot.

The film will be released this December. Check out the trailer below:
