America's Next Top Model Cycle 20 Episode 16 (Finale Part 2) Recap

So last week we were left hanging as to which model would be eliminated just before runway... is Cory! So Jourdan and Marvin will be walking to the death in this stunning fashion show.

The show starts with their fashion film that they shot last week (notice how amazing Nina looks!!) before Laura opens the show.

Jourdan is phenomenal in Tex Saverio and definitely wows the crowd in her first look but on her way back a tiny stumble could risk her chances of winning. Her face does look more worried than confident and a lack of smize at the end makes it less strong.

Marvin has that weird smirk on his face throughout and just annoys me. Nina looked great as well. :3

After the runway show, the two get shot by Tyra in a simple shoot, both of which did well in.

And now for final panel, the judges loved Jourdan on the runway and Kelly is definitely floored by her performance. Noone on that runway could compare to her.

Comparing their photos, they picked many of Jourdan's best shots and comparing to Marvin, she obviously did so much better. I think it is pretty obvious that Jourdan should win and has a stronger performance overall, but for all you know, Tyra would crown a guy just because this is Cycle 20, but given there is a Cycle 21, a guy/girl could win in that one too. So, if a guy wins here I think a girl will win 21 and vice versa.

So, America's Next Top Model is...

'Heaven Is For Real' Film Trailer Preview

Based on the Christian book by Todd Burpo, 'Heaven Is For Real' tells of the true story of a kid's experience of Heaven.

After a near death experience, Colton claims to have been to Heaven and back, accounting things that he had not been told about his family which stuns his parents. No doubt this film will be powerful in recounting the Burpo's amazing story and get people talking about it again.

Appropriately released in time for Easter, April 2014. Check out the trailer below:

'Gravity' Film Review

In production since 2010, the highly anticipated film by director Alfonso Cuaron finally hit screens in the UK last weekend and wow, was it spectacular.

Dr Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock), a medical engineer embarks on her first space mission with veteran Matt Kowalski (George Clooney), an astronaut on his last expedition. Just as Kowalski undergoes his final spacewalk, news of stray debris from a Russian missile strike on a derelict satellite prompts the team to abort the mission.

Debris strikes their shuttle explorer and detaches Dr Stone, sending her drifting into space. Kowalski manages to reach Stone and the two discover they are the sole survivors of the crash. Tethered only to each other and with no communication with Mission Control, the two fight for their lives in the hostile and cold outer space.

Hannah Jones in Ellements Magazine (Nov 2013)

My Cycle 16 favourite Hannah Jones is featured in the November issue of Ellements Magazine. Shot by Taylor Kent, Jones is soft but strong in this spread, definitely improved since ANTM!

America's Next Top Model Cycle 20 Episode 15 (Finale Part 1) Recap

It's gone quickly, but it's that time again where someone will be crowned America's Next Top Model... will it be Marvin, Cory or the last girl standing and with 5 FCOs, Jourdan?

The two-part finale starts with the GUESS campaign shoot, but first, the eliminated contestants are brought back as supporting crew for each remaining contestant, but they get to pick which team they are on...

Cory: Chlea, Mike, Kanani, Jiana, Nina
Marvin: Phil, Don, Jeremy, Renee
Jourdan: Chris

Where's Alex?? (she participates in the GUESS shoot- so why doesn't she pick a team?)

Cory struggles at first but manages to pull a shot- Marvin gets a lot of dissatisfaction from the photographer until Renee is brought and then manages to do better. Jourdan also doesn't give what the photographer what he wants until the end.

The next day the contestants take their Nylon Shoot- Jourdan looked stunning and natural, and the other two were more blah...

They then get taken to the site of their runway, but they won't be doing it yet! Instead, they will be shooting a fashion feature as part of the runway which will also be judged upon. The theme is some love triangle between the finalists and Jourdan has to revisit her past when the relationship gets abusive.

Cory has to make out with Jourdan and probably has the hardest role out of everyone- let's hope it doesn't turn out super awkward!

For the runway, Jourdan will be wearing the amazing designs of Tex Saverio and the guys a local Indonesian designer. The eliminated contestants are told by Johnny that if they are on the winning team, they will each get $1000... prompting them to switch.

Marvin's team stands strong, but Cory's team is tempted. Chlea hesitates but decides to stay, but Mike swiftly switches to Jourdan's team. As they prepare for their runway, Tyra announces a shock elimination right before and only two of them will be walking for the title to win! They will be judged on their GUESS shoot.

Jourdan seems to have gotten the best feedback, Cory was critiqued for being too catalogue and Marvin's photo was not seen as a GUESS campaign and too youthful. But I think Cory will be leaving... but we find out next week!!

America's Next Top Model Cycle 20 Episode 14 Recap

So it's the penultimate episode before next week's two hour finale, and tensions are high in the house after Nina and Jeremy's shock elimination over Chris. The house goes into crazy uproar but where is Marvin during this?? Chris unleashes his mouth to overdrive.

For this week's challenge, Cycle 19 winner Laura James comes back to lead the fitness task pitting the boys against each other and the girls against each other. After some jab jump drop thingees and some skipping, Renee wins both and then has to race up some stairs to get a medallion. Renee gets a headstart and wins, with Jourdan panting for breath and needing a medic.

Out of the guys, Marvin wins the jabjump and Cory wins the skipping... in the race Cory manages to catch up to Marvin but in the end, Marvin still wins... so Marvin and Renee wins the challenge and gets to star in a work out video with Laura and Rob Evans.

Here are the challenge scores:

Marvin 10
Renee 10
Cory 9
Jourdan 9
Chris 8

For the photo shoot this week, the contestants will be hanging upside down like bats in coloured drapes...

Marvin does well on shoot as does Jourdan, and Renee looked really cool with her body contorted before she passed out. Chris struggles at first but seems to have pulled out a good shot. Cory is being told to be masculine but struggles with the feminine movement.

At panel, Tyra hints that two people will be going home.

Jourdan's photo is great apart from the weird hand. Rob abuses Cory again for his lack of masculinity (srsly?) - I bet he gives Marvin/Chris top scores... smh... but Tyra and Kelly stand up for him and gets good scores over all.

Renee's photo is not good... not as good as she looked on set... she could be going home! Chris' photo isn't as bad as the judges' thought, but not amazing either... and deffo going home.

Marvin gets good scores overall.

Judges' Scores:
Jourdan 9,9,10
Cory 8,10,6
Renee 7,7,7
Chris 7,8,8
Marvin 9,9,9

Chris and Renee are going home this week- the scores are so polarized its pretty easy to tell... Jourdan for first call out!

And the first person called is...
