The first Walt Disney film since the hit success 'Tangled' brings us 'Wreck-It Ralph', an ambitious and super exciting film surrounding a video game character called Ralph.
Ralph (John C Reilly) is fed up of being the villain in his game and decides to game hop, trying to find a game in which he can be the good guy for once, with video game archtypes he jumps into including Halo/COD type FPS, Mariokart-esque racing and more.
This film immediately reminds me of Toy Story in terms of making use of pre-existing games whilst the world is so colourful and beautiful I can't help but think of 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs'. I really hope Disney does this justice because I know Pixar would, if they got their hands on this.
