This year's Serpentine Pavilion design has been unveiled as a cork landscape investigating the remains of the past Serpentine pavilions. Designed by Herzog & de Meuron and Ai Wei Wei, the cork landscape explores the shapes/foundations and what's left below the turf, inviting users to discover the past.
With twelve columns, each representing a past pavilion with one in the middle, a circular reflective roof is supported and appears to be a shallow pool of water, offering reflections of the greenery and the gallery.
The pavilion will be open from 1 June through to mid October so make sure you go!
