I was really lucky in spotting this butterfly as it was trapped in my conservatory and I just thought I'd take some photos of it as it was so beautiful- love the rugged shape of its wings and the woody texture of it's exterior, only to reveal the beautiful bright orange markings inside.
There have been a decline in butterflies in the UK so it's so nice to see one and glad to have freed it and sent it back into the wild :)
