Paik Nam June Media Bridge by Planning Korea

The design for Paik Nam June Media Bridge by Planning Korea is simply stunning. Spanning over the river Han at 1080m long, this bridge brings the city out onto the river and increases bridge function from just being a crossing between point A and B to an immense infrastructure. Fitted with museums, libraries, malls and every potential need of a pedestrian, the bridge will also likely grow into a tourist hot spot with docks for water taxis, boats and cruise ships.

Beautifully modern and fluid, the structure of the bridge is extremely easy on the eyes and I can imagine it to be an extraordinary piece of architecture that will be self sufficient as it has sustainable solar power energy and rain water collection systems installed.
