Funky Mooncakes for Mid-Autumn Festival 2010

Mid Autumn Festival is one of the major festivals celebrated in Asia and a tradition of such is to eat mooncakes. I have gathered a series of lusciously tempting pictures of mooncakes which are actually available for sale from Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries in South East Asia.

Apart from just variations of the traditional moon cake (piggy one above :3), the snowy mooncake is also changing. This year manufacturers went for mousse mooncakes (looks so yum!) and floral mooncakes, but the most popular seem to be the fruity ones with mango being a hot favourite.

I personally just drooled over all of those and wish I could try them for real... perhaps you too!

Anyway, have a Happy Mid Autumn Festival!!!

UPDATE: Check out the mooncake we made at the very bottom! :D
