Nicholas Alan Cope Photography- Architecture

Nicholas Alan Cope is a photographer who shoots a range of topic- landscapes, still lives, commercial photography... but what caught my eye is his Architecture ones. They are extremely simple, and focuses on the lines, shapes, forms of the buildings, and the images in monotone, highlight and contrast the light and shadows as they form on these shapes.

They look truly stunning, and Architecture I seems to focus on the light, whilst Architecture II focusses on shadows- which is great theming. I am not sure how he gets the images so contrasting because they almost look like black and white prints... perhaps it is a long exposure but high S-Stop... something like that so light areas are overexposed and dark areas underexposed. If not, there's always Photoshop? XD
